What can Learn2Drive3D do for you as a driving instructor?

As a driving instructor or driving school, there are a number of ways in which you can use Learn2Drive3D to enhance your business, earn extra income and add value for your students:
Give free copies to your students
You are welcome to make as many copies of the disc as you like and give them out free of charge to your students as part of a welcome pack, or distribute them to anyone else. These copies will be in demo mode. If students want to activate them at home they would still need to make the normal activation payment to us. However, if you've already got a copy of Learn2Drive3D yourself, you'll know there's a huge amount of information useful to learner drivers on the demo version even before it is activated. Use Learn2Drive3D in classroom sessions with your students
You are welcome to install Learn2Drive3D on as many computers in your driving school as you like, and allow students to use the programme on your premises or use it with them as part of classes and demonstrations. You may even charge them (for example an hourly rate) to use the programme - AS LONG AS they are aware that it is also possible for them to get their own copy and activate it at home if they have a computer there and if they prefer to use it at home. However we find that many students actually prefer to use the programme with an instructor in a classroom session, since then they can ask questions and get additional explanations if required.
At the moment if you want to set up user accounts that will track the scores of individual students, you have to activate separately for each user. Of course you are welcome to just activate once for one user and let many different people use that one username and password, but then their scores will be mixed up with each other. We are working on a version specifically designed for driving instructors and schools, where you can pay a once-off licence fee and then add unlimited numbers of users, as well as being able to view a report of all your students' scores and weak areas. We'll let you know more details about that in the next couple of months.
Customise Learn2Drive3D with your own questions and study materials
If you have your own test questions or materials and you would like your own version of Learn2Drive3D created with your own content for use with your students, please contact us so that we can discuss possibilities.

List your services in the Learn2Drive3D directory
We’ve been getting a lot of requests from our users for driving lessons, which of course we don’t offer. The next version of Learn2Drive3D (due on 15 Feb 2007) will include a directory on the programme (as well as here on the website), so that users can look up instructors or other driving-related services in their areas, or we can refer people who email us asking for lessons.
We also run a competition on the website where each month users win 10 hours worth of free driving lessons. When they win we organise the lessons for them with an instructor in their area (which we pay for). We select the closest instructor to them from our directory.

Refer other driving instructors
We offer the opportunity for driving instructors listed with us to earn commission by selling directory listings to other driving instructors, or to other driving-related businesses. You do not have to do this - it's is not a requirement for you to have your own listing. However, if you wish to, you are able to earn R100 for every instructor or driving school that you sign up.
Some people think that it will take away from their businesses if there is more competition listed in the directory. In fact the opposite is true. The more businesses that are listed, the more useful to learner drivers the directory becomes, and the more they talk about it, use it and recommend it to their friends. Suddenly there is more business available for everybody.
If you are interested in earning extra income by signing up other businesses, all you need to do is:
a) Introduce them to Learn2Drive3D - either tell them about us, show them our website, give them a copy of the disc or show them the programme in action, and let them know what the benefits of listing their services in the directory would be.
b) Get them to fill in the Directory listing application form which we will supply.
c) Make sure that your name and your unique "Referral Code" is filled in in the “Referred by” section. This code can only be used by you to refer listings, as we will link your commission payments to this code. You will get this code from us once you join the programme.
d) Email the completed form to directory@learn2drive3d.net OR fax it to 021-689 1175.
e) We will contact the school or instructor, give them all the details of their listing and what we still need from them, and an invoice.
f) As soon as they have paid the invoice, your commission will be payable to you via direct deposit into your bank account once a week (payment for all referrals completed in the previous week). A report of all referrals paid for or still pending (waiting for payment) will be available to you.
