What does it mean to activate Learn2Drive3D and how do you do it?
When you first install Learn2Drive3D it's in demo mode. Most of the functions are available, but only some of the content is available. If you see a lock icon next to a section name you will need to activate Learn2Drive3D to access this section. You can choose whether you want to activate either the Learner's section or Driver's section only, or do both. Activate one now and the other later... it's very flexible.
How much does it cost to activate Learn2Drive3D?
Choose from one of these activation options:
- LEARNER'S SECTION only for 1 year - R95.00 (total, not per month)
- DRIVER'S SECTION only for 1 year - R95.00
- Both LEARNER'S AND DRIVER'S SECTIONS for 18 months (yup, eighteen months) - R150.00
You can buy your activation in advance - your time period will only start once you enter the code in your Learn2Drive3D programme and click Activate.
There is no extra charge for shipping.
The activation codes apply to one person on one computer. If you would like to add more than one user account for your copy of Learn2Drive3D, or install it on more than one computer, each account will need to be activated separately. In this way we are able to keep costs down for each individual user, instead of charging a higher once-off price for the whole disc.
Any upgrades released during your activation period are available to you at no extra cost, via download or a new CD.
So how do I go about activating Learn2Drive3D?
To activate Learn2Drive3D or extend your current activation, please follow these steps.
Step 1: Get your request code (in the Learn2Drive3D application)
Once you have installed Learn2Drive3D on your computer, go to the Activation page in the Home section and you will see a unique request code.
Step 2: Enter your activation request (here on our website)
If you can connect to the internet on the computer where you installed Learn2Drive3D you'll click the link on the activation page to come back here with your request code filled in for you.
If you can NOT connect to the internet on the computer where you installed Learn2Drive3D you will be able to print a copy of your request code and these instructions, and then come back to this page from another computer that can connect to the internet. You will be asked to enter your request code.
Step 3: Make a payment - or enter your voucher number (here on our website)
You may have a voucher number if you have already purchased Learn2Drive3D, or if you received a promotional voucher. If you don't have a voucher already, you will be asked to make a payment. There are various ways to pay (online credit card payments, direct deposits via internet banking or at a branch, etc). We'll guide you through the process step-by-step.
Step 4: Get your activation code (here on our website)
You will be given an activation code by our website (this will also be emailed to you). Print it, write it down, or copy it to your clipboard.
Step 5: Unlock the application with your activation code (in the Learn2Drive3D application)
Paste or enter the activation code you got from our website into the Activation page in Learn2Drive3D and click Activate. You status will be updated and the content will be unlocked immediately.
Confused?
The process is very straight-forward and doesn't take long. You will be given instructions each step of the way. Just remember not to confuse your REQUEST code, VOUCHER number and ACTIVATION codes.
